Don’t let Stress and Anxiety destroy You.

Don’t let stress and anxiety destroy YOU..

We have talked about stress before and ways to possibly prevent it, but I feel as if sometimes we just need an outlet. We need something to pull us out from under the water, and something to relate to. Not all of the time do we want a quick fix. Sometimes we need someone or something that just gets it. That understands the battle you’re facing. I remember the first time I had an anxiety attack. It felt as if the walls were closing in on me and I could no longer breathe. I was in so much shock I couldn’t even shed a tear. Than moments later the tears struck. The hyperventilating. I was drowning in my own dark thoughts. There’s nothing anyone could say or do, because this war was inside of  my own head. No body could try and explain my feelings, because they were in a world only I could see. Who can relate?

If you’re reading this you’re probably looking for some hope. A little light at the end of the tunnel. But the only person who can fight this battle is Y.O.U.  You are so much more capable than you know. If only you knew how strong of a parent you are, how special of a spouse you are, or how amazing of a child you are. If you haven’t heard this in a while I want to tell you that I am proud of you. I am proud of you for taking a moment and reading this blog. For taking a moment to breathe and have some you time. Don’t let the worry’s of the world consume you. A fellow teacher of mine once told me, “ what is more important.. you’re mental health or the test you’re going to take on Friday? Don’t let the worry’s of the world eat up who you are. “ This truly stuck with me. I struggled very much with stress in high school. Stress to fit in, stress to please my parents, and stress to please the crowds. I lost myself until I was reminded that day that sometimes you need to weigh out the worry’s of the world. Stress can certainly take away your character, but you can prevent that. Only YOU have the power to control you. Time manage. Breathe. Meditate. Love yourself. These things go a long way...
